Frequently asked questions
Who can join?
Adults aged 18 and over who play tennis in Accra or Tema. There is no club membership required.
What level do I need?
All levels. We use the ITF World Tennis Number (WTN), the rating the Ghana Tennis Federation uses: 40 is a beginner and lower numbers are stronger. If you have a WTN, enter it when you sign up. If not, pick the level that fits you best. You are placed in a division with similar players.
Do I need to book courts myself?
Yes. You arrange the match with your opponent and book the court. The app has a guide to each court and a person who can help you book.
How do I pay?
By mobile money (MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo) or by card, through Paystack, in Ghana cedis. We never see your card or mobile money PIN.
What happens if my opponent does not turn up?
Wait 20 minutes, then report a no-show in the app. Repeated no-shows earn strikes.
What if we disagree about the score?
Dispute it in the app within 48 hours. The league coordinator reviews disputed scores.
How do coaching bookings work?
You pick a coach and a time and pay online. The coach confirms within 12 hours, and if they do not you are refunded automatically.
Can I cancel a coaching session?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before. Later cancellations are not refunded unless the coach agrees.
Is my phone number public?
No. Only players in your division can see it.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, at any time in the app settings. Your match results stay in the standings with your name removed.
